How we work together,written down.

The rules that apply to every project, so neither of us has to remember what was said on a call.

In short

  • Every project starts from a written quote with a documented scope and agreed timeline.
  • You receive complete source files, assets, and accounts once the final invoice is paid.
  • Either side can stop — you pay for what has been done, nothing more.

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to services provided by STEP TO BEGIN SARL to a client, unless a signed contract says otherwise. When a specific contract and these terms disagree, the contract wins.

2. Quotes and scope

Every project begins with a written quote listing what is included, what it costs and when it is delivered. Prices shown on this website are indicative starting points, not offers — only a signed quote is binding.

Work that is not in the quote is not in the project. If you want something added, we tell you what it costs and what it does to the date before doing it.

3. Payment

Unless the quote says otherwise:

  • A deposit is paid before work starts. The standard split is stated on each pack.
  • The balance is due at delivery, before the site goes live on your domain.
  • Invoices are payable within 15 days.
  • Late payment can suspend work and shift the delivery date accordingly.

4. What we need from you

A project runs on time only if both sides move. You agree to provide the content, accounts and approvals we identified, and to reply to questions within a reasonable delay — usually 48 hours.

If a project stays blocked on your side for more than 30 days, we may pause it and reschedule it into a later slot.

5. Revisions

Each quote states how many revision rounds are included. A revision means adjustments within the agreed direction. Changing the direction after it was approved is new work, quoted separately.

6. Deadlines

The delivery date in the quote is a commitment on our side, provided you supply what was agreed on time. Delays caused by missing content, late approvals or third parties move the date by the same amount.

7. Ownership

Once the final invoice is paid, you own the delivered work: the design, the code written for you, and the source files. Accounts (domain, hosting, analytics) are created in your name from the start.

Third-party components keep their own licences — fonts, plugins, stock images and frameworks are used according to those licences, and we tell you which ones apply.

Until the final invoice is paid, the work remains our property and may not be published.

8. Showing the work

We may show the finished work in our portfolio and on social media, unless you ask us not to. Confidential figures and internal documents are never shown. Ask and we will keep a project private — no explanation needed.

9. After delivery

Every project includes handover assistance and an agreed support period defined in the proposal for anything that does not work as agreed. This covers agreed fixes, not new features. Ongoing maintenance is a separate, optional agreement.

10. Responsibility

We build carefully and test what we deliver, but we cannot guarantee commercial results, search rankings or uninterrupted availability of third-party services. Our total responsibility for a project is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not responsible for content you provide, or for changes made to the work by someone else after delivery.

11. Stopping a project

Either of us can stop a project in writing. You pay for the work completed up to that point; the deposit covers the work already done and is not refunded. You receive whatever has been produced so far.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Moroccan law. If a disagreement cannot be resolved between us, it goes to the courts of Tangier. We would strongly prefer a phone call first.
